i forgot what part when the film began to work for me, but eventually it did; it took at least half-way through before i could appreciate it. the triangle aspect is what i liked about this. everything else was....i dont think spike's comedy here worked. tuturro is totally over acting (and certainly not funny) and spike's arguments with the french girl are not funny. the humor just isnt here and the attempts at it dont go well hand in hand with the drama the title track is great
oh yeah, the recent feud between clint and spike was quite entertaining. feuds make the film scene interesting. sorta like rivalries in sports make sports interesting. |
