This was an old school paramount short from back in the day which i saw on amc. It must have been a filler for a main attraction or some kind of educational movie. They don’t even credit the director. The subject, surprise, surprise, is about unusual occupations, like: this person who makes weird hats; this guy who makes bird houses; horses that are used to catch fish; some guy who makes some kind of weird…I don’t even know what you call it - it looks like one of those store display train sets, but it’s not a train set, it’s a wild wild west scene; and a dude who collects horse cars (looked like trolleys to me) and antique cars.
Each one of those things could have been an interesting topic by itself in a full length doc. But they just jammed everything into a ten minute short. |
