For me, the score of a film is often the deciding factor . And michel legrand’s score makes this film. Without it, the film would be much more sinister. But the score actually makes an otherwise dark film endearing.
But it’s more than just the score, obviously. There are so many fun scenes in here, that you can easily forget their criminal intentions. That’s the genius of godard. This has got to be my favorite film of the new wave |
